Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in technical sales within the industrial automation sector
• Strong knowledge of sensors, industrial networking, PLCs, and fieldbus systems
• Must be based in or near Cape Town with a suitable home office setup
• Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license for client visits when needed
• Must be a self-starter capable of working independently and managing remote relationships effectively

• Provide technical consultation and automation solutions to customers across manufacturing and industrial sectors
• Build and maintain customer relationships across the Western Cape region
• Conduct virtual and on-site product demos, system evaluations, and presentations
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in line with company targets
• Prepare quotes, technical documentation, and sales proposals
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and post-sales support
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and customer challenges
