POSITION INFO:
Are you a sales-savvy engineer who speaks the language of sensors, PLCs, and industrial solutions? We're on the hunt for dynamic Automation Sales Engineers to join our talent pool for multiple leading companies across South Africa. If you've sold electronic products and automation solutions into manufacturing, mining, or industrial sectors – we want to hear from you.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

National Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering
Proven track record in technical sales of automation or electronic solutions
Strong knowledge of industrial automation products (e.g., PLCs, sensors, drives, SCADA, HMI)
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites

Job Experience & Skills Required

Minimum 3 years' experience in a sales role within the automation or industrial electronics sector
Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities across multiple industries
Confident in presenting technical solutions to engineers, procurement teams, and production managers
Experience working with OEMs, system integrators, or automation distributors
Able to manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and quoting to after-sales support
