Automation Specialist
Are you passionate about optimizing industrial equipment and ensuring operational excellence? Our client is seeking a dedicated Automation Specialist to join their team in Nelspruit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical and electrical systems.
- Carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Follow maintenance schedules rigorously to ensure top equipment performance.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards in all maintenance activities.
- Assist with installation and setup of new machinery.
- Collaborate with team members to boost operational efficiencies.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs.
Requirements:
- Matric (High School Diploma) or equivalent.
- Relevant Trade Certificate as a Millwright or Electrician.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on maintenance experience (industrial setting preferred).
- Refrigeration experience is advantageous.
- Packhouse experience will be a definite plus.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
- Strong physical and manual dexterity and agility.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
