SUMMARY:
Seeking a hands-on Automation Technician to support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of industrial automation systems.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Build, install, and commission automation systems (panels, wiring, mechanical components)
Read and modify electrical schematics
Panel building and wiring to spec
Perform fabrication (grinding, welding, basic metalwork)
Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and automation systems
Support project delivery and meet deadlines
Travel locally/internationally for installations
Ensure safety compliance and clear communication with teams/clients

Requirements

Education:

Trade Certificate (Electrical / Millwright / Mechatronic)

Experience:

Automation installations, panel building, commissioning
PLCs & robotics (advantageous)

Technical Skills:

Electrical & mechanical knowledge
Ability to read drawings
Skilled with tools and fault-finding

Soft Skills:

Problem-solving mindset
Strong work ethic
Team player with good communication

Additional

Willing to travel (including ±3 months abroad)
Valid driver’s license
