Our client is an exciting new automotive brand establishing its head office operations and building the business from the ground up. This role is suited to an enthusiastic, committed professional who is eager to be part of a long-term journey, contribute to shaping processes and culture, and play a key role in developing and growing the department from its early stages. The Dealer Support Technical Manager acts as the primary operational and technical liaison between the OEM and its dealer partners, ensuring consistent implementation of OEM standards across sales, aftersales, customer experience, and operational processes.
This role focuses on driving dealer performance, resolving operational and technical challenges, ensuring policy compliance, and building strong, long-term relationships with dealer principals and senior management. The ideal candidate is hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable operating both strategically and at dealership level.

Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Support & Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the OEM and assigned dealer network
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with dealer principals, general managers, and departmental heads
• Address dealer concerns, challenges, and escalations, coordinating internally with OEM departments to drive resolution
• Act as the voice of the dealer network, providing feedback to OEM management

• Monitor and evaluate dealer KPIs including parts sales performance, service throughput, CSI, warranty results, training compliance, and operational standards
• Analyse dealer performance data and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Prepare performance reports and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to dealers and OEM management
• Conduct regular dealer performance reviews and joint business planning sessions

• Ensure dealer compliance with OEM policies, operating standards, and brand guidelines
• Support the rollout and implementation of OEM programs, initiatives, campaigns, and system updates
• Conduct dealership audits, operational assessments, and regular site visits
• Identify non-compliance risks and support corrective action plans

• Support dealer service and parts operations to achieve targets and operational efficiency
• Provide guidance on warranty processes, technical escalations, and service best practices
• Assist dealers with resolving escalated customer complaints and complex technical cases
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and CSI performance

• Monitor dealer training compliance and skills development across service, parts, and sales teams
• Support the implementation of technical, process, and product training initiatives
• Identify training gaps and recommend development actions in collaboration with OEM training teams

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive OEM, dealership operations, field support, or technical management roles
• Strong end-to-end understanding of dealership sales, service, parts, and warranty operations
• Proven experience managing dealer performance metrics and OEM programs
• Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and drive action
• High level of professionalism with the ability to influence without authority
• Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently within the assigned territory
• Proficient in CRM systems, DMS platforms, and OEM reporting tools
• Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
