SUMMARY:
Job Title: Branch Manager for Automotive Parts
Location: Krugersdorp
Remuneration: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Our client based in Krugersdorp in the West Rand of Johannesburg, is looking for a Branch Manager. We are looking for your 8 years of work experience in Managing and Automotive Branch. Experience with Vehicle Part Sales is essential.

Position reporting to the Branch Manager:

Internal Sales Staff
Storemen
Picker & Packers
Drivers
Administrators

Required Qualifications and Working Knowledge

Matric (additional certificates/ qualifications will be advantageous).
8 – 10 years’ experience in management in the Automotive industry.
Sound technical understanding and knowledge.
Experience managing Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and associated financial responsibilities.
Understanding of procurement.
Understanding of ISO 9001/ 45001 or relevant quality management systems.
MS Office Suite.
Experience with stock management.
Sales and customer interaction experience.

POSITION INFO:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategy and development.

Ensure that company needs are met and that the necessary policies, procedures and processes are put in place.

Task and general management.

Ensure that customers expectations are met and handled satisfactorily.
Manage daily sales figures.
Oversee the delivery of stock.
Develop, lead and implement variable cost programmes.
Coordinate team activities.
Ensure stock levels are accurate and kept up to date.

People management.

Manage, develop and coach a high performing sales team.
Set objectives/KPIS that can be assessed and reviewed.
Report on target achievement.
Promote high standards.

Financial and budget control.

Prepare the annual store budget, forecasts and capital expenditure proposals.
Achieve budget and forecast.

Relationship management.

Communicate with all necessary parties.
Develop and maintain strong relationships.
Communicate with stakeholders and be apart of the decision-making process.
