Azure Data Engineer

SUMMARY:
A senior Data Engineer required for a large Healthcare Group situated in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for expanding, optimizing data and data pipeline architecture within the Microsoft Azure Platform as well as optimizing data flow and collection from various data sources and systems.

Essential Requirements:

·         BSC Degree/Advanced Technology Diploma (NQF Level 7)

·         Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate Qualification

·         Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate

·         MCITP/MCSE certification

·         Advanced SQL Knowledge and experience

·         Minimum of 10years+ Data Engineering in corporate environment

·         Strong Networking and Infrastructure Knowledge and applied experience

·         Strong project management, organizational and analytical skills

·         Solid experience in building and optimizing “big data” data pipelines, architecture and data sets (both structured and unstructured)

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills

·         Self-directed and able to support the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products
