The Role: Azure Data Engineer (Mid to Senior)
This role focuses on designing, building, and supporting data solutions using Azure technologies and Power BI. The successful candidate must be technically strong and capable of engaging with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective outcomes. This position is based in Johannesburg with occasional travel to client sites when required and agreed.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate minimum mid to senior level experience in Azure data engineering.
• Design and develop data solutions using Azure data platform technologies.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Deliver high-quality technical outcomes with minimal supervision.
• Support solution implementation, testing, and optimisation.

• Proven experience as an Azure Data Engineer at a mid to senior level.
• Strong knowledge of Azure data services and Power BI.

• Capable of working independently and delivering results.
• Experience in a consulting or client-facing environment advantageous.
