Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.
About the YES Initiative
The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.
Location: Lanseria
Stipend: R8000.00
Duties:
- Management of the full BEE process
- Liaising with BEE consultants to ensure BEE planning is correctly allocated and all protocols followed
- Gathering and managing information and data for the completion of BEE rating
- Assist with external reporting of the information
- Providing BEE information on tenders, or for Customers, Partners or Suppliers
- General management of the BEE file
- Liaising with other departments (Legal, Finance, HR, etc) regarding BEE matters
- Gather company information and submit information as required for BEE ratings purposes
POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34
- Must not have participated on the YES Programme before
- Business Administration Diploma/Degree
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Previous experience would be advantageous
- Must be computer literate
- Must be fully bilingual
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to build relationships
- Must work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines
- Applicants must reside in Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Soweto, Tembisa, Randburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and surrounding areas
