BCom Accountant for Accounting Firm

Our client, and independent financial consultancy, based in Port Elizabeth is looking for an Accountant.

Please note only those living in Gqeberha will be considered for this position.

Education and Experience required:

• Grade 12 plus Accounting Degree or Diploma as a minimum
• Bookkeeping experience in Pastel / Sage required
• Experience using Excel and Pastel, E-filing
• Computer literate
• Deadline driven
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to work alone in a pressured environment, working to billable hours on multiple sets of books.
• Administrative skills

Responsibilities include:

• Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet for various clients
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Reconciliation of VAT and PAYE
• Payroll
• E-filing management
• Communication with SARS
