POSITION INFO:

We are seeking a highly skilled BI Developer with a consulting background to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong development skills and proven experience in building robust BI solutions using MS SQL, T-SQL, and modern visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. A background in financial services will be advantageous.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable BI solutions using MS SQL and T-SQL.
• Create insightful Dashboards and Reports using Tableau or Power BI to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate business requirements into effective BI solutions.
• Optimize data models and SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Support data quality, integrity, and governance initiatives.
• Work on multiple client engagements, providing consulting expertise and best practices.

Your expertise:

• Proven consulting background with exposure to multiple clients and industries.
• 4+ years of experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong development experience in MS SQL and T-SQL.
• Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI for data visualization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advantageous:
  • Experience or understanding of the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Exposure to cloud BI environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Relevant BI certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Tableau) are a plus.
