SUMMARY:
A client of ours in the mining sector is looking for a BI Developer to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

Report development using PowerBI
Develop SQL Queries
Optimise of reports and Queries
Input into the technical discussions and analysis
Adhere to business and technology standards and best practices for OT
Ensure customer satisfaction is high and

-SSIS

Responsibilities:

Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Crafting and executing queries upon request for data. Presenting information through reports and visualization.
Work closely with Development Managers, Engineers, Solution Architects and Technical Project Managers across the company to develop or enhance products.
Build relationships with existing and potential internal customers to understand their individual requirements and demonstrate how products can add value to their business.
Work with peers to identify new cutting-edge technologies that can be strategically leveraged.
Review new and existing code to identify areas for improvement.
Implement and enforce an effective testing strategy with the relevant accompanying processes.
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with little direction.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a multi-project environment.
Able to work independently but also as part of a team working towards a collective outcome.
