SUMMARY:
Our client in the Legal Sector, has an opportunity available for a BI Developer to be based in the Pretoria area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
Matric/National diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, BI report development, testing, training, change management, and support methodologies.
Minimum of 3 years SQL Programming, Power BI and Advanced Excel experience.
Strong financial background with experience having worked on financial systems.
Familiarity with software development methodologies.
Experience delivering and/or authoring technical training.
Ability to work under pressure and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Experience in data warehouse design.
Provides technical and functional development of reporting solutions and data analysis using tools like:
o Microsoft SQL programming
o SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
o Power BI
o Advanced Excel
o PowerPivot for Excel

KPAs:

Develop standard reports and functional dashboards based on the Company''s requirements.
Develop business intelligence models that can be used to generate both standard and ad-hoc reports.
Provides overall guidance for data quality.
Identify and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Perform quality assurance checks on new or enhanced reports.
Maintain data analytics platforms.
Evaluating and improving existing BI systems.
Conduct troubleshooting on BI models.
