BI Developer X2 (2021_08)

SUMMARY:
A client of ours in the mining sector is looking for a Senior BI Developer with Tableau experience to design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• 3 years developing reporting solutions in various tools i.e. PowerBI, Tableau, SSRS
• Report development using Tableau
• SQL Server Management Studio
• Experience in XHQ would be beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions. Crafting and executing queries upon request for data. Presenting information through reports and visualization.
• Work closely with Development Managers, Engineers, Solution Architects and Technical Project Managers across the company to develop or enhance products.
• Build relationships with existing and potential internal customers to understand their individual requirements and demonstrate how products can add value to their business.
• Work with peers to identify new cutting-edge technologies that can be strategically leveraged.
• Review new and existing code to identify areas for improvement.
• Implement and enforce an effective testing strategy with the relevant accompanying processes.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, determine appropriate actions and complete projects with little direction.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a multi-project environment.
• Able to work independently but also as part of a team working towards a collective outcome.
