Job Description

Reporting to the Logistics Planning Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring supply chain elements to assess performance efficiencies and effectiveness
• Analysis in which all known variables and constraints are considered
• Performing periodic supply chain analysis
• Implementing, facilitating and /or coordinating the roll out of initiatives
• Third party analysis inform on the costs, the reallocation of a sales contract against shipping point and preferred transporters
• Analyzing related to the forecast loading provides a reliable base for material requirements planning
• Analyzing of forecasted volumes for contracted fleets is submitted timeously
• Reports are generated using data from relevant sources to ensure the compilation of meaningful information
• Presentations to decide further project steps
• Regular feedback on project progress
• Ensuring that the data used is reliable and accurate and available when required
• Ensuring that the quality of presentations and reports are of a high standard
• Understanding of the dynamics that influence the supply chain

Qualifications

• BSc Industrial Engineering (non-negotiable)

Skills

• 3 years’ experience in applying the principles of Industrial Engineering in supply chain
• SAP or similar ERP supply chain
