SUMMARY:
Colenso / Ladysmith Area Ã¢Â€Â“ KZN: The successful candidate will be responsible for installations, maintenance, repair and manufacturing of steel components

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Trade Tested Artisan (preferably a Boilermaker)

Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, as well as produce small drawings when required to convey assembly instructions to other operators

Duties including but not limited to:

The incumbent’s responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Fabrication, welding, cutting, repairing and replacing of steel components.

Ensure compliance with client specification and design.

Conduct accurate tests during production and on final product.

Accurately identify and prepare materials, tools and equipment.

Conduct accurate measurements.

Ensure machinery is in good working order and safe to operate.

Analyse information and evaluate results.

Comply to all standard operating procedures, Company policies and procedures, health and safety acts and any other relevant legislative requirements.
