SUMMARY:
Our leading client in the Automotive Component sector seeks to employ a BOM Analyst/Material Master Scheduler to join their Logistics Team - position based in Rosslyn.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

- Complete BOM audits as per BOS requirements
- Manage the BOM audit tracking master as per BOS standards
- Coordinate and manage BOM audits as per BOS standards
- Comply to new model launch audits as per BOS standards
- Control family group checks on all BOMS
- Manage and control BOM adjustments and updates
- Conformance of TUV audit principles for BOM Audits
- Team controls for BOM audit process
- Responsible for resolving Production JIT/Trim BOM issues
- Monthly schedule management of BOM audits, update BOM file and report
- Support other Logistics (Plant /Head Office) and Production (JIT/Trim) functions in terms of material usage/import orders advice and JTDS inquiries
- Ensure Master scheduling of Trim/JIT Production materials and customer DS&R (Reorders)
- Expedite TRIM Materials with Suppliers/Central Logistics (Interim)
- Produce monthly Logistics Reports to Finance (Monthly Shipped file)
- Plan master scheduling activities to avoid obsolete material in relation to customer demand
- Coordinate Warehouse systems update and between IT/AME Logistics/Programs/Quality
- Updating of the logistics PFEP file portion
- Responsible for Stock Count Documents Preparation and BOM explosion of selected Locations
- Perform any other Logistics support functions as per Logistics Manager requests

Requirements:

- Minimum National Diploma Industrial Engineering/Operations Management/any other related qualification
- At least 3-5 years'' experience in a similar role

- Logistics policies and procedures
- Supplier management (MRP) & MFGPRO BOM set up
- BOS Standards
- JTDS System
- AMS standards for BOM management
- MFGPRO knowledge
- Full Bill of Material context understanding
- Complete process understanding of Production Environment
- MS Office: Excel - Advance
- High level of accuracy and document control
- Planning and Organising
- Able to demonstrate objectivity in decision making
- Excellent administrative skills
