Bookkeeper (open to ALL) - R500K

POSITION INFO:

A Engineering Company based in Ruimsig have a vacancy for an experienced Bookkeeper.

REQUIREMENTS

A degree or Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience is ESSENTIAL

• Must be able to post entries on Xero Accounting

• Maintain upkeep of income and expenditure on the Xero system weekly

• File and keep electronic records of expenses and income

• Allocate expenses to correct projects

• Consolidate timesheets and verify against project trackers (last week of month)

• Prepare invoices and statements

• Issue invoices and statements

• Follow-up on invoices and statements

• Collate and communicate batch payments (debtors)

• Liaise with accountant to ensure VAT/PAYE/UIF/SDL is raised ready for payment

• Prepare payroll using Simple Pay

• Report to MD and Operations Lead
