BSc Science Trainee (Research and Development of flavour)

SUMMARY:
Our FMCG client, situated in Pretoria is looking for a BSc Science Trainee with experience in flavouring. The successful candidate will be responsible to assist in the development of projects and to expand and enhance the current product range of flavours.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc degree in Science.
• 1+ years’ experience.
• Preferable experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Customer service background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Weekly reporting to the CEO on development performance.
• Provide customers with product samples according to specification.
• Provide assistance to Quality Department during the testing and QC processes.
• Facilitate the product brief and scoping discussions between stakeholders.
• Create new recipes.
• Prepare experimental flavour samples as directed by the R&D Manager.
• Evaluation of raw materials and flavour samples.
