POSITION INFO:
Our client in Tanzania is a Logistics Company. They are in search of a Business Development Manager who will be based in South Africa and work remotely from South Africa with frequent travel to their offices in Tanzania as well as travel to other countries in Africa. This role will be on a 24 month Fixed Term Contract earning a Basic Salary with a Lucrative Commission Structure. Support company expansion across East and Central Africa, in particular fuel supply, especially within mining operations. Highly experienced professional with a strong background in the Oil & Gas, Mining, and Logistics sectors, particularly within Central Africa or within Africa as a whole. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and drive revenue growth across multiple markets. Must be able to travel frequently to Head Office in Tanzania and into other African countries. Minimum is matric\/ grade 12 with a Tertiary Qualification being advantageous 8 years+ experience in Business Development within Logistics, Oil and Gas and Mining industries within Africa. Experience with Service Legal Agreements Experience with Customer Relationship Management Experience with Excel & CRM systems Target driven Able to understand Business Strategy and able to put together a Sales Strategy Strong commercial, leadership, and negotiation skills, as well as an extensive network within the industries mentioned. Able to compile and conduct presentations to clients Must have a valid passport
