Back End Java Developer (Contract)

SUMMARY:
Recruiting for seasoned Java Developers who are passionate about technology. This role sits within Online Banking and is responsible for vast number of App Services. You will be part of a teams that is responsible for building/enhancing the online banking site features and will tend to build back end (predominantly) to front end (up to JSP)

POSITION INFO:

 Back End Java Developers – Johannesburg | Online Banking (Contract)

We are actively recruiting for seasoned Java Developers who are passionate about technology. This role sits within Online Banking and is responsible for vast number of App Services. You will be part of a teams that is responsible for building/enhancing the online banking site features and will tend to build back end (predominantly) to front end (up to JSP)

You will also meet the following Minimum Requirements:

• Degree (BSc, BIS, BCom or BEng) or National Diploma in Information Systems, Software, Information or Electronic related Sciences from a reputable university (NON NEGOTIABLE)
• Java Certification advantageous
• 4-6 years in Java (back end) development

Tech Stack (exposure to most of the following would be ideal)

• JAVA 1.8
• Custom Framework which is similar to Spring and Struts (MVC Patterns)
• Application server is JBoss EAP
• Database is both Posgress and DB2
• IDE is Eclipse or Intellij (The candidate can chose which they code in, their preference)
• Source repository is GIT
• Inhouse tool to migrate code to the JVM  -Change it – This is similar to Maven and Ant
• JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo etc

Duration: 18 - 24 Months Contract
