Back-end Engineers

Attention all Back-end Engineers an award-winning company focused on changing the world. With artificial intelligence, our client has rolled out their technology to over 38 countries and aim on expanding their footprint even more. They are looking for detailed orientated Front-end Developer. This position will be based in Pretoria, with some remote days.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Developing and maintaining software products and solutions offered by the company. The technical stack used in building these software products and solutions comprises of Golang to build fault tolerant and distributed systems NATS, NATS Jetstream, CQRS, MySQL/PostgreSQL for data storage, Github actions for CI/CD, Docker for containerisation and Amazon Web Services as hosting provider. Teams are split into a specific product focus. Each team member will bring a unique perspective to the table and the team will include a Business Analyst, Back-end- and Front-End Engineers, Android and or iOS Developers, and or Web Developers.

Education:

  Tertiary qualification in IT.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Min of 5-6 years’ experience in a similar role.

Experience designing and building data stores with complex relationships.

Experience in designing distributed systems, back-end APIs, or microservices.   

Experience with CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis.

Experience using the following, Golang, Jenkins, TDD, Unit Testing, end-to-end integration tests.
