POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

Your opportunity to be involved with the latest and forthcoming technologies. The technical stack comprises of solid back-end API’s, Apache, Golang and gRPC to build fast, fault tolerant and distributed systems, MySQL or PostgreSQL for data storage, Jenkins for automated testing and deployments, Docker for containerisation and Amazon Web Services (AWS) as hosting provider. Company award-winning products hosted in a number of countries.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Generate and maintain effective and efficient high quality, reusable code.
Practice operative and efficient components & techniques to implement solutions.
4 plus years’ experience with either C++, Java or .NET with a greater focus on the backend.
Solid Golang experience a big plus
Take ownership of projects.
CS fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design and complexity analysis.
Design and build data stores with complex relationships (relational or NoSQL).
Built/Design distributed systems, back-end APIs, or microservices.

Communicate and collaborate with development, business analyst and design teams to solve problems, make recommendations and discuss best programming practices.
Work with stakeholders to achieve appropriate solutions.
Ensure that all work is tested, benchmarked and fulfils functional requirements submitting for approval, review or deployment
Update project documentation.
Guard confidential information.
Participate enthusiastically in peer code reviews.
