JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the financial industry is looking for a back-office manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Purpose:

To manage and take ownership of the OMNI and CIC queues for credit operations and to ensure all policies and processes are monitored and implemented efficiently and effectively.

Minimum requirements:

Diploma/Degree
5- 7 years Management experience.
Must have knowledge and understanding of ABIL policies and procedures.
Must have knowledge and understanding of ABIL system.
Must have knowledge and understanding of: Labour Legislation in relation to people management and ABIL. HR policies / processes and procedures.
Must have knowledge of product origination processes and customer maintenance account processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Treating Customers Fairly and Compliance

Keep the client informed about progress through written communication, telephone communications, and/or face-to-face meetings.

Management of Resources

Manage people efficiencies through leave management, headcount budget, fixed term contracts, staff movements, secondments, staff utilization.

Management of Departmental workflows and productivity (OMNI & CIC)

Monitor queues to ensure that there are enough resources and TAT’s are not impacted negatively.
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by business.

SOP and policies

Monitor changes deployed on the front end that will have an impact on the back office.

Implementation and policy updates in line with internal auditing of financial transactions and external audit reports.

Update policy with changes from internal and external audit recommendations.

TCF and Ethics Champion

Ensure all policies and processes applied in the department support TCF and ethics initiatives
Identify gaps where the department can make changes that impact customers positively.
