The Role

As Baker, you will prepare a range of baked products for daily service, working closely with the pastry and kitchen teams to ensure quality and presentation standards are consistently met. This role requires precision, teamwork, and a passion for delivering excellence.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a baker or pastry assistant
Relevant baking qualification preferred
Valid South African ID
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and dough handling
Understanding of food safety and hygiene best practices
Good time management and ability to work efficiently in a team
Attention to detail and commitment to consistency

Key Responsibilities

Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules
Ensure all products meet quality and presentation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the baking area
Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with ordering
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
