About the Role

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Banking & Cash Management Import revenue, debtors, cash, credit card transactions and direct depositGautengs from Opera into Pastel Reconcile imported transactions between Opera and Sage Process daily cash book entries Perform bank reconciliations Process petty cash transactions Manage banking allocations and cash controls Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Process creditor reconciliations and age analysis Load creditor payments Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Support debtors administration and collections Resolve account discrepancies Financial Administration Process journals and recurring journals Review operating and F&B stock journals Reconcile purchases to the General Ledger Process stock consumption and operating equipment expenses Prepare month-end financial schedules General Ledger & Balance Sheet Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Reconcile clearing and suspense accounts Review all Balance Sheet accounts Review the General Ledger for accuracy Investigate and resolve unusual transactions Assist with month-end and year-end financial processing Reporting Prepare Budget vs Actual reports Assist with monthly management reporting Maintain accurate financial records Ensure compliance with company financial procedures Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) Qualification in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping will be advantageous Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Finance Controller or Banking Clerk role Experience with Pastel, Sage and Opera PMS Strong Bookkeeping to Balance experience Excellent Microsoft Excel skills Experience with bank reconciliations and General Ledger reconciliations Strong numerical and analytical skills High attention to detail and accuracy Highly Advantageous Hospitality experience Property Management experience Hotel Finance experience Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Debtors Administration Creditors Administration Stock reconciliation experience Budget vs Actual reporting Key Skills Finance Controller Banking Clerk Bookkeeper Bookkeeping to Balance Financial Administration Bank Reconciliations Cash Book Cash Management Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Creditors Debtors General Ledger Balance Sheet Reconciliations Journal Processing Pastel Sage Opera PMS Microsoft Excel Financial Reporting Hospitality Finance Property Management Finance Why Join This Opportunity?
