The Role:

Our client an exciting SaaS start-up business and are in the process of developing a digital solution that wants to change the way an entire industry does business, 

They are looking to hire a Head of Marketing who will be responsible for the companyâ??s marketing, lead generation, acquisition and retention strategies.

Essential Functions:

  • The role will require a passion for technology, and its capacity to have a positive social and environmental impact.
  • It will be beneficial if you have a background in the tourism industry and have an understanding of the multi-channel sales funnel as well as the popular property management systems.
  • CRMâ??s and other digital tools often used in hospitality and travel.
  • The development of the long-term company marketing strategy, with an emphasis on achieving B2B sales growth, market penetration and cost-effective customer acquisition and retention.
  • Work closely with the MD, Sales and Product teams to roadmap strategic growth.
  • Drive B2B customer acquisition and retention, with a clear understanding of the lifetime customer value in a SaaS business model.
  • Create engaging and long lasting relationships with audiences and customers.
  • The development and implementation of a winning lead generation strategy
Skills and Experience:

Experience Required:

  • 10+ years in the field of marketing
  • 5+ years B2B SaaS/Technology-based marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of technology marketing (SaaS, IT or Tech product)
  • Energy, enthusiasm, passion and commercial awareness
  • Demonstrable ability to create excitement, both internally and externally
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing techniques (PPC, SEO, HTML, CSS)
  • Lead generation, acquisition and retention experience
  • Experience in managing budgets and delivering on tight time-lines
  • Self-management and accountability with solid leadership skills
  • Experience using automation and analytics tools
  • Experience within a fast-changing, start-up or similar environments (flexibility)
  • A positive forward-looking mindset
  • Experience with start-ups would be beneficial
  • International experience would be beneficial
  • Tourism industry experience would be beneficial.
Key Accountabilities:
  • A track record of successfully scaling marketing teams
  • Experience of working with a high growth or scaling SaaS business, having implemented a successful lead generation, acquisition and retention focussed marketing plan.
  • You will have experience in brand and content marketing strategies and the use all of channels for distribution to reach various markets
  • You will have relationships in the Tech media space to leverage from
  • You will be looking for a fresh challenge, prepared to roll your sleeves up and deliver a winning lead generation, customer acquisition and strategy
