An established and reputable organisation within the financial services environment is seeking a Billing Clerk to join their finance team on a permanent basis. POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices to clients or members
Perform billing and payment reconciliations to ensure accounts are up to date
Process credit notes and refunds where required
Prepare account statements and monthly billing reports
Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing-related queries
Maintain accurate billing and accounting records within financial systems
Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
Bookkeeping qualification or short course (advantageous)

Experience:

1–2 years’ experience in billing, accounting, or a similar finance role
Previous experience as a Billing Clerk or Finance Administrator

Skills:

Strong numerical and reconciliation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with accounting or ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

NonâNegotiables:

Strong communication skills
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Deadline-driven and detail-oriented
