Job Title: Boilermaker / Sheet Metal Worker
Our client, a fast-paced, high-volume poultry processing facility based in Izotsha, is looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Boilermaker / Sheet Metal Worker to support maintenance and production operations. If you are passionate about engineering in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, this could be your next big opportunity!
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker and/or Sheet Metal Worker
- Strong welding and metal fabrication skills (certification preferred)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and layouts
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable working outdoors at heights, in confined spaces, and industrial settings
- Physically able to lift 25kgs, climb ladders, and wear PPE
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work overtime when required
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, install, and repair boilers, pressure vessels, ducts, and sheet metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures
- Weld using SMAW, GTAW, MIG and assemble structural and sheet metal components
- Operate shears, brakes, torches, and other metal fabrication tools
- Perform pressure testing, quality control, and inspections
- Follow safety protocols, including confined space and hot work regulations
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces as required
