Bookkeeper

POSITION INFO:
A Bookkeeper is required to manage multi-currency transactions, submit invoices, do financial reports, accounts payable/receivable, cash flow planning, audit support, and maintain accurate financial records.

KEY DUTIES

• Preparation of management reports monthly.
• Preparing invoices and submitting to customers timeously for payment.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist and manage liaisons for annual audits. Balance sheet recons
• Treasury management - daily, weekly and monthly cash flow planning.
• Maintain transactions from operational system to finance system
• Mitigate any corrections after deadlines.
• Forecasting/budgeting preparation of schedules.

• South African citizen.
• Code B driver's license and own transport.
• Reside in Helderberg area (Western Cape).

• Senior certificate (NQF 4).
• Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred.
• Computer literate (excellent MS Office, Excel and Pastel package skills).
• Experience with multi-currencies USD, ZMW and ZAR.
• Bookkeeping to trial balance.
• Experience local and foreign cash books.

• Verbal/written communication skills.
• Detail orientated and organised.
• Adept in prioritising and multitasking.
• Ability to communicate with all the stakeholders in the company - from junior to executive level.
