POSITION INFO:
A Bookkeeper records and manages a company’s financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. They ensure that accounts are accurate, up to date, and ready for reporting or audits. Bookkeepers also handle tasks like bank reconciliations, invoicing, and tracking expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Recording financial transactions, such as sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly.
Maintaining and balancing ledgers and journals to ensure up-to-date financial records.
Reconciling bank statements to verify and correct discrepancies.
Processing invoices and payments for customers and suppliers.
Managing accounts payable and receivable to track incoming and outgoing funds.
Preparing financial reports like profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
Assisting with payroll processing and related record keeping.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Supporting Auditors during financial audits by providing accurate records and explanations.

Qualifications & Skills:

National Diploma
2-4 years related experience
