POSITION INFO:
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Pretoria East, known for stability, strong values and an environment where everyone’s contribution genuinely matters. They are seeking a Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator to support the Accountant and ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations. You’ll take ownership of bookkeeping functions, ensure accurate financial records and keep the accounting processes running like clockwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle debtors and creditors processing and reconciliations
• Manage invoicing, billing and capturing of financial transactions
• Maintain banking, cashbooks and monthly bank recons
• Assist with general ledger maintenance and bookkeeping to trial balance
• Support the Accountant with financial admin, filing and month-end tasks
• Ensure all financial records are up to date, accurate and audit-ready

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
• 2 to 3 years experience in a bookkeeping / financial admin role
• Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment beneficial
• Proficient in Xero Accounting (non-negotiable)
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and organisational ability
• Reliable, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision
