Are you an organised, analytical, and detail-oriented finance professional ready to make an immediate impact? A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Head Office Finance team. This role is ideal for an immediate candidate who thrives under pressure, embraces change, and is committed to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Process direct allocations for supplier and sundry refunds and clear bank clearing accounts daily
Manage the cashbook department, ensuring strict adherence to monthly deadlines
Collate and consolidate budget and forecast information from various stakeholders
Prepare annual year-end audit requirements within set deadlines and assist external auditors as needed
Support internal audits and recommend improvements to internal controls
Approve daily payments via SAP according to defined payment runs
Maintain banking signatories, SAP beneficiaries, capturers, and releasers, ensuring proper segregation of duties across bank platforms
Assist with financial analysis and special requests, supporting finance-driven projects aimed at enhancing processes and controls
Provide assistance to the Accountant with various ad hoc finance tasks as required

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Grade 12 Certificate
BCom degree or Diploma in Finance
3–5 years’ experience in a similar finance role
Proficient SAP and Excel skills
Foreign currency experience would be beneficial
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement
Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical abilities
Able to work under pressure, handle change, and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conceptual thinking abilities
