JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well established and leading company, based in St Francis Bay, is currently looking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper to their team.

Transport from Humansdorp and J'Bay provided daily.

Awesome career opportunity.

Requirements:

Accounting up to trial balance
Checking accuracy of creditors and debtors processing
Checking accuracy of creditors recons and payments
Ensuring all payments are properly authorised
Capturing of Cashbooks/ Bank Statements and Petty Cash
Reconciliation of Bank Statements and Petty Cash
VAT Reconciliations and Submissions of VAT201
Salary Recons and submissions of EMP201
Bi weekly cash flow reports
Updating yearly budgets on Pastel
Monthly financial reports

Requirements are as follows:

Matric
Degree/diploma in bookkeeping optional
Previous bookkeeping experience
Pastel and excel experience
Ability to work independently

Other characteristics include:

Accuracy and attention to detail
Deadline orientated
Positive attitude
Interacting with personnel – follow through principle
