JOB SUMMARY:
Bookkeeper - Western Cape - George

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A well-established auditing firm is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree or Diploma would be advantageous
Must have 5+ years experience with a accounting/auditing firm
Must be literate on Pastel Partner and Sage One

DUTIES:

Processing tax invoices for suppliers and customers
Processing and reconciling cashbooks (bank recons)
Reconciling to supplier and customer statements
SARS e-filing equipped
VAT reconciliation and returns
Able to compile Annual Financial Statements on CaseWare
Assist with VAT reviews on SARS
Processing of journals up to a final trial balance

ABOUT YOU:

Must be a good communicator (written and verbal skills)
Dynamic and motivated
Able to work independently or in a team
Must be a fast learner
