Our client based in Hillcrest is seeking a skilled and reliable Bookkeeper to join our growing team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Retail background and understanding of principles
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role

Competencies:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Accpac)
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping advantageous
Strong communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must work with speed as we are deadline driven

Core Responsibilities:

Approve of payments
Load Payments
Balance Sheet Recons
Vat Recon
Salaries / Bim Report Import
Management Reports and Packs for Group
Management Reports and Packs for Store managers
Creditors Recons for payment – Review
Debtors
Preparation for Audit
Audit Reports
Input of Budget
Fix Assets register (Maintaining)
Allocate and post financial transaction details to subsidiary books and in GL
Bank details changes on Bank Platforms
Yearend rollover
Changes in ACCPAC
Stores per Department (Manual) Expenses.
Expenses Schedules on variances, Advertising, Consumables, R&M and Sundry
Monthly checking of CRS and DRS Balancing
Management of Cash Book
Loan Account –Intercompany
Review Recharge accounts to property Com and Directors
Review IBT before posting
Ensure Purchases and Sales balance to Arch summary
Expense allocations for Creditors Department
Provisions Charges and other
Departmental reports
Uniform, Stationery and Packaging Stock Balances
