Company Overview

Our client, an artistic advertising, and media company is looking for a deadline driven Bookkeeper to be part of their team. The ideal candidate would have a relevant qualification in accounting and will possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Recognised accounting qualification
• 4 - 6 years’ experience in similar position
• Experience working on Xero
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills in all forms
• Able to work independently and good attention to detail
• Excel experience – Advanced
• Willing to work extra hours
• Own Transport

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain supplier accounts (Capturing of invoices, Reconciliations, Debtors Age Analysis, create new suppliers)
• Monthly Financial Reports (Xero and Aurik dash board)
• Maintain and control bank account transactions, bank reconciliations.
• Salaries, payslips and UIF submission
• Preparing weekly and monthly payments
• Assist with annual audit review
• Cash Ups
• Capturing cash transactions
• Insurance administration
• CICP Register
• Advise on tax strategy
• Assist with ad hoc financial projects and tasks as required
