JOB SUMMARY:
A retirement village situated in Pretoria East offers an opportunity for a Bookkeeper / Payroll administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties

Bookkeeper to trial balance – full cash book and debtors function, mainly cash based creditors with some reconciliation.
Proficient in Sage Pastel Xpress/Sage Pastel Accounting and Microsoft office, especially Excel and Word.
Processing of EFTs and debit orders/collections via business banking.
Prepares draft management accounts from TB.
Payroll and HR: Full payroll function on Sage Pastel Payroll, leave administration and preparing contracts for signature.
SARS returns monthly, EMP201 and VAT201. Will be assisted with EMP501 and IRP5/IT3a.

Requirements

Mature friendly person able to deal with the elderly and their families.
Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
Attention to detail, honest and reliable.
Able to collaborate with colleagues
Works to deadlines and mainly unsupervised.
Monday to Friday 7am to 15:30pm
