POSITION INFO:

Are you a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience in the retail sector? We're looking for a committed and efficient individual to join our team in Pietermaritzburg.

Key Responsibilities:

Full Debtors and Creditors function
Account and bank reconciliations
Preparing monthly financial statements
Filing and maintaining accurate financial records
Identifying and correcting errors in financial data
Performing Age Analysis for accounts
Balancing the general ledger
Reconciling cash accounts receivable, company credit cards, and prepaid expenses
Managing fixed assets and accruals
Processing bank payments accurately and on time
Assisting HR with documentation required for labor compliance and reporting
Handling municipal payments and compliance-related admin

Requirements:

Proven bookkeeping experience in the retail industry
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficient in Pastel and Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
