SUMMARY:
DBN000168 – BOOKKEEPER/FINANCE MANAGER - PIETERMARITZBURG

Purpose of the job:
To oversee financial operations, including bookkeeping, credit control, and stock, while managing admin & sales staff in a retail environment.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping - advantageous
Proficient in Pastel Accounting (full working knowledge essential)
Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite

POSITION INFO:
Required Experience & Knowledge:

Bookkeeping and accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment
Proven management or supervisory experience, including overseeing admin staff
At least 10 years of working experience
Strong credit control management skills
Understanding of stock control processes

Experience working independently, managing priorities, and meeting strict deadlines

Good with people (staff & customers)
Solutions driven with good initiative

Required to work every 2nd Saturday, 08:00 – 12:00 (half-day)
