Bookkeeper/Personal Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client, a dynamic aviation company based in Germiston, is seeking an experienced and proactive Bookkeeper & Personal Assistant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Process daily financial transactions using Sage. Capture supplier invoices, receipts and journals. Prepare and process creditor and debtor reconciliations. Perform bank reconciliations. Prepare payment schedules and supplier payments. Assist with monthly management accounts. Process VAT-related information and liaise with external accountants. Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems. Assist with month-end and year-end finance processes. Monitor cash flow and ensure financial records remain up to date. Manage executive calendars and appointments. Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting packs where required. Arrange local and international travel, accommodation and itineraries. Screen calls, emails and correspondence. Prepare reports, presentations and general documentation. Order office supplies and assist with general office administration. Liaise with clients, suppliers and service providers professionally. Provide day-to-day administrative support to senior management. Assist with ad hoc projects and business requirements. Requirements: 3-5 years' experience in a bookkeeping role. Previous experience supporting senior management as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant. Solid working knowledge of Sage Accounting . Experience with bank reconciliations, creditors, debtors and general bookkeeping. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
