POSITION INFO:
A leading manufacturer and converter of expanded closed cell foam plastics and rubbers, requires the services of a Branch Manager at Gauteng Regional Branch in Edenvale, Johannesburg. The position also requires the successful incumbent to take responsibility for our production facility in Benoni and our Pretoria Sales and Distribution office.
KEY OBJECTIVE:
ØTo manage the Gauteng Region Branch performance and employ Capital and Human Resources in order to achieve above average returns for the Region.
ØThe successful incumbent would be managing a workforce in excess of 60 staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
ØGrade 12/ or equivalent qualification.
ØTechnikon/or B Degree or Business/Commerce qualification.
Ø +10 years working experience at Middle Management level, preferably in a manufacturing jobbing environment.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
ØGeneral Management skills.
ØFinancial & Production Controls (Inventory, Cash, Debtors, Creditors), Logistics, Sales and Marketing, SHEQ and HR.
ØStrong technical and operational acumen.
ØProficient in customer relations.
ØProficient in MS Office & Syspro or equivalent ERP system.
ØPeople skills, including managing a diverse workforce is an essential attribute.
ØAdditional duties as deemed necessary by the position.
