A leading supplier of high-quality equipment to the engineering, welding, and mining sectors is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead and grow its Rustenburg branch.

POSITION INFO:

JOB OVERVIEW

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing all branch operations, including sales performance, financial management, staff leadership, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive profitability, optimize operations, and build strong client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
Build and maintain strong customer relationships
Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
Monitor competitor activity and market trends

Operations Management

Oversee all operational functions including stores, stock, logistics, and rentals
Ensure efficient processes and optimal stock levels
Maintain high service delivery standards

Financial Management

Manage branch budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
Monitor GP margins and control expenses
Oversee debtors, creditors, and cash flow processes

Leadership & HR

Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff
Conduct performance management and training initiatives
Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Resolve customer queries and maintain high satisfaction levels
Build long-term relationships with key clients
Represent the business professionally within the community

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations
Maintain operational and legal compliance across all areas

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric (essential)
Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
8–10 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong sales and operational management background
Proven leadership and people management skills
Financial acumen and budgeting experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
High level of organization and ability to work under pressure
