Our client, a leading records and information management company, is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Empangeni branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing branch operations, maintaining exceptional client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence while delivering services in line with agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

- Drive sales growth by promoting the company's products and services to new and existing clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Prepare customer proposals, quotations, and tailored service solutions.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends within the region.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM database.
- Ensure operational activities are delivered in accordance with SLAs, company procedures, and customer expectations.
- Oversee document storage, retrieval, deliveries, and records management operations.
- Optimise fleet utilisation, vehicle maintenance, and operational resources.
- Manage inventory, stock control, dispatch, receiving, and operational reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations and company housekeeping standards.
- Monitor branch performance through operational KPIs and prepare monthly management reports.
- Lead business continuity initiatives and ensure branch security and compliance.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and manage branch employees to achieve operational and sales objectives.
- Conduct performance reviews, employee coaching, and staff development.
- Manage employee relations, discipline, and adherence to company HR policies.
- Assist with branch budgeting, monitor expenditure, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a service industry with a proven sales track record.
- Minimum 2 years' management experience leading a small to medium-sized team.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
- Experience in operational reporting and budget management.
- Strong knowledge of customer service and operational processes.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
- Willingness and ability to travel when required.
