POSITION INFO:
Branch Manager - Johannesburg Talent Connected Staffing Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for an experienced and commercially driven Branch Manager to lead their Johannesburg branch . This is a senior leadership opportunity suited to a hands-on business leader who can take full ownership of branch performance, profitability, operations, customer relationships and team leadership within a technical, industrial or manufacturing-related environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, managing day-to-day branch operations, strengthening customer relationships, improving operational performance and leading a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the overall Johannesburg branch Drive revenue growth and branch profitability Manage sales, operations, finance, inventory and customer service Develop and implement branch business plans Build and maintain key customer relationships Monitor financial performance, budgets and KPIs Ensure effective inventory, warehouse and stock management Lead, mentor and develop branch employees Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth Minimum Requirements: Minimum 8 years' management experience in a commercial or operational environment Minimum 5 years' experience leading cross-functional teams Proven responsibility for branch, business unit or profit-centre profitability Experience managing budgets, expenses and financial performance Strong leadership experience across sales, operations and customer service Strong understanding of inventory, warehousing, procurement, logistics and supply chain management Strong commercial and financial acumen Ability to analyse business performance and drive profitability Confident engaging with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders Preferred Industry Background: Industrial machinery and equipment Manufacturing Technical distribution Engineering supply Automotive manufacturing Packaging manufacturing Industrial consumables Capital equipment suppliers Industrial automation businesses Ideal Candidate Profile: Experienced Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Business Unit Manager or General Manager Results-driven and commercially minded Hands-on, approachable and decisive under pressure Strong communicator and relationship builder Able to lead sales, operations and branch teams effectively Motivated to build and develop high-performing teams Package: Market-related Cost to Company package, dependent on experience.
