JOB SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Branch Manager in Centurion.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supervisory Responsibilities

Interviews, Selective hires, and training for staff for the retail location.
Organization and overseeing the schedules and work staff/
Conducts performance evaluations of staff members to ensure they are on par.
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with the company policies.

Duties and responsibilities

Oversees staff and full fills staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
Plans, organizes, and coordinates sales, marketing.
Develops, oversees, and maximizes retail budget and product inventory, purchasing, and sales.
Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks monthly.
Collaborates with regional managers and owners to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective advertising and hiring strategies.
Uses company software to research, analyse, and track purchases.
Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Arrange for deliveries where needed

Required Skills and Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Ms excel
Knowledge of Pastel invoicing system advantages
Organized with attention to detail.
Works well under pressure and deadlines; ability to multitask.
Strong leadership and management skills with ability to motivate staff.
Excellent customer service abilities.
Ability to develop and maintain budgets.
Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.

Other Requirements

Must have at least a CODE8 Drivers licence.
Must be able to lift heavy products.

ADDITIONAL ITEMS TO BE DONE:

Bring in leads on new business, through cold calling and researching for potential business.
Bring in new business.
Assist with new developments for customers and potential new items to be displayed in the shops.
