Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead their Cape Town branch. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, leading installation and sales teams, maintaining exceptional customer service, and managing the overall performance of the branch. The successful candidate will also be responsible for achieving an individual sales target while ensuring the branch meets its overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the daily operations of the branch to ensure operational efficiency and achievement of business objectives.
- Drive branch sales performance while achieving individual sales targets.
- Develop and implement branch sales strategies to achieve annual budgets and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, forecasts, and competitor activity within the region.
- Manage the branch administration, customer accounts, invoicing workflow, and reporting functions.
- Ensure the showroom is maintained to company standards and products are displayed effectively.
- Oversee the scheduling and performance of installation teams to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Ensure all installations are completed according to company standards and customer expectations.
- Manage customer service levels by resolving customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures, policies, and safety requirements.
- Monitor branch operating expenses and manage budgets effectively.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop branch employees, including sales, administration, and installation teams.
- Manage employee performance, training, leave, and staff development.
- Coordinate ongoing training for sales consultants and installation teams.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales, operational, and financial reports.
- Safeguard company assets and maintain confidentiality of company information.

Minimum Requirements

- Minimum 5–8 years' experience in a technical sales, installation, or operations environment, preferably within barrier security, access control, industrial doors, or related industries.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Branch Management or supervisory role.
- Proven experience leading sales, administration, and technical or installation teams.
- Strong understanding of sales management, operations, customer service, and project coordination.
- Experience working with contractors, facilities managers, or procurement teams will be advantageous.
- National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or a related qualification will be advantageous.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems is essential.
- Experience with job scheduling or field service management systems will be advantageous.
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
