SUMMARY:
Our client a leading manufacturer and converter of expanded closed cell foam plastics and rubbers, requires the services of a Branch Manager Manufacturing (HR/Finance) to join their organization in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of the Job:

To manage the Gauteng region branch performance and employ capital and human resources in order to achieve above average returns for the region. The successful incumbent would be managing a workforce in excess of 60 staff.

Job Requirements and Required Skills:

General Management skills
+10 years working experience at middle management level, preferably in a manufacturing jobbing environment
Financial & Production Controls (Inventory, Cash, Debtors, Creditors), Logistics, Sales and Marketing, SHEQ and HR;
Strong technical and operational acumen
Proficient in customer relations
Proficient in MS Office & Syspro or equivalent ERP system
People skills, including managing a diverse workforce is an essential attribute
Matric
Diploma/Degree (Business/Commerce)
