Branch Manager - Roofing Industry

SUMMARY:
Our national client is opening a new branch in Parow that will require your minimum 10 years’ experience and proven track record managing a manufacturing and sales branch.
 
This role requires an allrounder who will need to be target driven, strong in sales and building customer relationships with proven leadership skills.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, relevant qualification advantageous and own transport essential
• Minimum 10 years branch management experience
• Extensive Customer and Sales experience ESSENTIAL
• Energetic, flexible and highly organised
• Computer skills including strong Excel & Powerpoint
• Able to handle stress, communicate well in English and Afrikaans in a teamwork environment
• Good understanding of stock control, stock management and warehousing
• Ability to follow health and safety practices
• Bilingual with excellent staff communication skills

• Manage all administrative duties and staff within the branch
• Assist walk-in customers where needed, answering calls and assist customers with sales quotes etc.
• Ensure the office is presentable and run professionally
• Printing and sending out Job cards to the factory
• Reconciling all Job cards after the goods have been manufactured
• Demand planning for future business, setting min/max stock levels for the branch
• Managing and capturing time sheets for staff wages
• Ensure all business functions and processes run smoothly and report all issues back to head office
• Actively engage with all internal and external stake holders including customers, keeping everyone up to date with lead-times and order processing
• Ensure all deliveries and collection notes are invoiced accurately and on time
• Maintaining the company safety file and ensuring that shortcomings are addressed
• Conducting stock counts and ensuring that inventory levels are correct
• Capturing all goods received correctly and on time
