Branch Manager - Warehousing & Logistics

POSITION INFO:

Branch Manager – Warehousing & Logistics – East Rand

Company requires a person with extensive knowledge and hands-on skills related to Inbound, Stock Management, Outbound / Order Fulfilment, Return processes and effective Packaging within a Retail Warehouse Management System

Minimum requirements :

Degree in either Logistics or Supply Chain OR an Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail warehousing and supply chain logistics
Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a contract logistics environment
Minimum 5 years’ experience and highly effective working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for data management and reporting
Own vehicle and valid Driver’s Licence

Job purpose (including but not limited to) :

Data management and reporting
Operations within a retail warehouse management system
Stock Management
Problemsolving, Management functions
Effective communication skills and compliance knowledge
Financial aspects of budget development and control
HR and IR functions
Commercial acumen and experience to manage Client and Supplier contracts, SLAs and Risk
